Partner Program
How the partner program works: the two ways to take part, the demo site, inviting clients, and where your earnings are.
The NovixAgent AI partner program pays you a commission for customers you bring, whether you recommend the product with a link or set it up for clients. This page explains how to take part day to day. The binding rules, with the rates, the commission period, the payout minimum and the payout timing, are in the Partner Program Terms.
Two ways to take part
- Recommend NovixAgent AI (affiliate). You share your own link in videos, reviews, newsletters and comparisons. You apply on the form of FirstPromoter, our commission platform, which the Partner Program page of our website links to while this way is open. You need no account with us, and you follow your link, clicks and earnings in the FirstPromoter portal. A click is recorded only for a visitor who accepted Marketing cookies, as the Cookie Policy explains.
- Become an installer partner. You set NovixAgent AI up for your clients. You apply inside the dashboard, show prospects a demo site, invite clients, and work on a client's site as the client's helper. The rest of this page is about this way.
Apply and wait for approval
- Sign in to the dashboard, or create an account. Turn on two-factor authentication in your account before you apply: the application form stays locked until it is on, and it is checked again when your application is approved and each time you open a client's account.
- Open Partners in the menu and fill in the application: your name or company, whether you are an agency, a freelancer or a consultant, your country, the languages you work in, which businesses you work with, roughly how many clients you have and how you find them, and a website if you have one. Tick the box to agree to the partner terms.
- Click Send application. We review each application by hand and email you the decision.
If an application is not approved, the page gives a reason and the date from which you can send a new one. Once you are approved, the other parts of Partners open: Demo site, Your clients, Invite a client and Materials, and the home page lists the first steps, activating a demo site and inviting your first client, and marks each one done once it is.
People whose account has access to our staff console cannot take part, so Partners does not appear in their menu and an application from such an account is refused.
The demo site
Open Partners → Demo site. It is a fictional clinic website where your assistant answers questions, collects leads and books visits, so you can show prospects what the product does before you set up their own site.
- Click Activate demo. Stripe opens a page in the same window, where you enter your billing address and confirm the demo plan; no card is needed. You are then back on Partners → Demo site, which shows Active and the demo link as soon as Stripe has confirmed the plan.
- Copy the demo link and share it with a prospect. They talk to your assistant, and the leads and emails come to you.
While Stripe's confirmation is on its way, the page shows Waiting for Stripe and updates by itself. If you left Stripe's page without confirming, for example with Stripe's back arrow or your browser's Back button, Waiting for Stripe stays, with a Cancel this attempt button. Click it to release the demo site at once; Continue activation then starts again. If you leave it alone, the unfinished attempt is released by itself when Stripe's page expires, an hour after you clicked Activate demo.
The screen shows how many demo sites you can still start in the current period. A demo has a smaller monthly allowance of questions and fewer features than the paid plans.
A demo is for demonstration only. Do not put it on a real business's website or give it to a client as the client's assistant; a client who wants the assistant is invited instead, as the next section describes. The Partner Program Terms say more, including what happens to your demo sites if you are suspended.
Sharing your screen with a prospect
Open the demo site first and share only its browser tab or window, not your dashboard. Do not open the workspace switcher, under the logo at the top of the left-hand navigation, while a prospect is watching: it lists the domains of the websites you work on, including your clients' sites. If you need the dashboard again, stop sharing first.
Invite a client
- Open Partners → Invite a client and type the client's email address and website domain, then choose the plan to offer.
- Click Send invitation. The client receives an email with a link.
- The client signs in, or creates an account, with the address you invited, and accepts. If the client's account has no site for that domain yet, one is created there with no plan; if it already has one, the client confirms that you join that site, which keeps the plan it has. Either way, you join the account as a helper. Creating the account from the invitation with the invited address confirms that address by itself, with no confirmation email, and signs the client in; accepting stays a click on the invitation page, because it creates a site.
- Where the site has no plan, the client pays with the client's own card. The plan you offered is preselected, and before paying the client can switch to another plan from our public price list; a commission, where one is due, is based on the plan the client pays for. You do not pay for it, and the client's account stays untouched until the client accepts.
When the client accepts, we email you, and your dashboard updates without a reload: the client's site joins your list of websites, and the invitation under Partners → Your clients shows its new status. While the site has no plan, the settings that need a feature of a plan stay closed to you; What you can do in a client's account names them.
Schedule a demo meeting is offered in three places: on the confirmation that appears after you send an invitation, on each invitation under Partners → Your clients that is still waiting for an answer, and as a button on Your clients that is not tied to a client. It opens a dialog where you pick a date and time (or leave them empty and choose in Google Calendar), choose the language of the event's title and description, and leave Add a Google Meet link ticked for a video call. Opening the dialog passes no data to Google. Data reaches Google only when you follow Open in Google Calendar: your browser then opens Google Calendar in your own Google account with a title naming the product and, when a client is named, the domain; the addresses of your live demo sites in the description; the date and time you chose; the time zone of your profile (your device's until your profile holds one); and the event text in the language you chose. From the confirmation and from an invitation's row, the client's email address goes with it as a guest; the button that is not tied to a client names no client, so no guest address and no domain go, and you add the person in Google Calendar. NovixAgent AI does not send the event: the client gets the invitation from your Google account only when you save the event there.
Under Partners → Your clients each invitation shows where it stands: waiting for an answer, expired, revoked, access removed, waiting for payment, in trial or paid. Each row also names a plan: the plan the client's site holds now or, while the site has no plan or after the client has removed your access, the plan you offered. It shows no price or amount. You can revoke an invitation that is waiting. The screen also shows how many invitations are waiting for an answer, out of the limit that applies to you.
What you can do in a client's account
As a helper you can see the client's leads and choose where they are sent, add and edit the knowledge base, see the integrations, add them and change their settings (but not entering, changing or removing a credential, not changing or removing the webhook address of an integration that holds a stored Authorization header, and not deleting one), get the install code, change how the chat looks and which AI templates it uses, see analytics, and turn Live Agent on or off and set its hours. Custom Actions stay with the client: you do not see, create or change them, and the same holds for connecting Slack, Shopify or a calendar, sending a test webhook and retrying a failed delivery. Where the Integrations screen shows you one of these, a note tells you to ask the owner of the workspace. In the template editor of Document Analysis, Test with my file and the live price example stay with the client too: only the owner of the workspace can use them. The access does not include the client's billing, the client's team, deleting the site or reading the client's chats. Use it only for the work the client asked you to do.
What you can open is also limited by the client's plan, as it is for the client. A setting that belongs to a feature the plan does not include stays closed: while the site has no plan, choosing where leads are sent, setting up webhooks and turning on Live Agent stay closed to you; on a plan without Live Agent, Live Agent stays closed.
The client can remove you under Team in the client's dashboard whenever the client chooses; Team & Operators describes that screen. Removing you does not cancel the commission on that client.
Your fee for the setup work
What you charge a client for installing and configuring the assistant is agreed between you and the client directly. The product does not collect it. Zoho Invoice is a tool we suggest for invoicing your own clients; it is your own account with that company, and we send it no data. A two-line template for the offer you send a client is in Proposal Template for Clients.
How you are paid
Commission is paid on the plan price of a customer you refer who pays, for a limited period, at a rate that depends on your tier. The product neither shows nor calculates commission figures: FirstPromoter holds your referrals, commissions and payouts. On the Partners home page, the card under To get paid opens the FirstPromoter portal. Your commissions are counted there automatically, but we can pay you only once you add a payout method in that portal. The email address on your FirstPromoter record is the one your NovixAgent AI account had when the record was created, and it is not updated when the address changes with us: if you change the address of your NovixAgent AI account, change it in the FirstPromoter portal as well. FirstPromoter moves you to a higher or lower tier by itself as its count of your active clients changes; the thresholds are in the terms. The Partners home page shows how many more paying clients reach the next tier. That figure counts the clients you invited and can differ from the FirstPromoter count, and the rate your FirstPromoter portal applies is the one that counts. The rates, the tiers, the commission period and the payout rules are in the Partner Program Terms.
When a client counts as yours
- By invitation. When a client accepts your invitation, the client is registered under you without a link or a cookie. This is done only for a new customer. A client whose account or website address has paid before, an account that belongs to your own company or an address that is your own, and a client who already accepted another partner's invitation are not registered under you.
- By link. A customer who follows your link is credited only if the customer accepted Marketing cookies and pays within the window the terms set.
If you think a customer who should be yours was not credited, write to support@novixagent.ai with your evidence, within the period the terms give.
If your partner access is suspended or you leave
The demo, clients, invitation and materials parts of Partners close, your demo sites end, and we email you; the email does not give the reason. The page keeps showing your status and your application. A suspension does not remove your access to a client's account: we tell each client who has you as a helper, and the client decides under Team whether you keep that access. If you think the suspension is a mistake, write to support@novixagent.ai.
To leave, write to support@novixagent.ai. We end the partnership in two steps. First the page shows that you left the program, not that you were suspended: the same parts of Partners close, your demo sites end, and we email you and the owner of each account where you work as a helper. When those emails and the cancellations of your demo subscriptions have gone out, we end the partnership: your partner profile, the record of your demo sites and the invitations you sent, accepted ones included, are deleted, and your record at FirstPromoter is removed (deleted if it earned no commission, archived if it earned some). Commission already earned stays payable under the terms. Your access to a client's account stays until the client removes it under Team.
While your company has a partner application under review or a partnership, current or suspended, a handover of the company to a new owner is refused. The account of the person who applied is not erased, whether they close it themselves or our staff erase it, while the partnership is approved, while a suspension for a policy violation or suspected fraud is still under review, or while the emails and cancellations of an ending partnership are still going out. In each case write to support@novixagent.ai and we end the partnership first, as described above; where the emails are still going out, the erasure works once they have. A rejected application does not hold the company back.
