What changes for the people involved
A problem solved for both sides of the conversation.
Customers write when your team is busy or away. Here is what that costs today, and what changes once an agent answers for you.
You, the owner
Today
People write at night, on weekends or when the team is busy, and by morning they have gone to someone who replied.
With the agent
The agent answers from your own content, asks for their contact details inside the conversation and, on Pro and up, can book the meeting. You open the dashboard to leads, not to missed messages.
Gets an answer that starts within seconds, in their own language, with the source it came from. When your content has no match for the question, it says so, and where you have a lead form or live chat set up it offers a way to reach a person.
The agent takes the repeat questions. On Pro and up, a visitor who asks for a person reaches your operator in the same widget, with what they just asked the AI beside the chat, and can start a voice call from it.
Encryption at rest, an append-only audit journal and uploaded files in EU storage are shipped. The security page also lists plainly what is not ready yet.
Same agent — but the wins change as you grow. Pick where you are today and see what it does for a business like yours.
Just you
Visitors get an answer — even when you're away.
Your agent answers visitors in seconds, around the clock, and collects their name and email right in the chat — so you come back to leads, not missed messages.
The moment a visitor asks, they get an answer grounded in your own content — with sources — or, when your content does not cover it, an honest decline with an offer to reach you, instead of a contact form.
Live in minutes, no developer
Paste one line of script, point it at your site, and it teaches itself what you offer. No setup project, no code.
Captures the lead in the conversation
It asks for a name and email naturally inside the chat and shows a tidy summary — so a visitor who lands when your team is away still becomes a lead you can follow up.
Everything in one agent
Stop assembling a stack. One agent. All included.
A chat widget here, a booking calendar there, a Zapier on top, a translator service, a separate lead form, a webhook router, an analytics dashboard somewhere else… each seam is a bug waiting to happen. NovixAgent AI collapses the lot into a single agent that already knows your site — with the small settings you didn't know you needed already wired in.

Why teams pick this over a basic chatbot
Engineering you don't see in the demo — but rely on daily.
Engineering decisions that quietly decide whether your customers leave frustrated, get the wrong policy, or come back as a paying lead. Your sales and support teams will thank you on month two.
12 shipped — running in production today
Visitor document analysis (price a file, understand a file, or your own template)
Visitors paperclip a PDF, DOCX, XLSX, CSV or TXT in chat — the agent reads it on the fly and returns a structured answer: a price quote off the real page or word count, a resume score, a TLDR, a document-completeness checklist, or a custom extraction you define.
Hybrid search + smart reranker
Vector + full-text + reranker — finds the right passage even when the question is worded differently from your page.
Grounded / low-confidence / no-evidence labelling
Answers drawn from your content are tagged. When the agent doesn't know, it is instructed to admit it and escalate — instead of inventing prices or policies.
Business type auto-detection
After the crawl we work out what you do — online store, SaaS, real estate, healthcare, education, professional services, and more — and load the AI template that fits.
Visual result cards
Products, property listings, menu items, courses, rooms, services, and articles show up as rich cards — image, title, price, and a click-through — instead of a wall of text when a visitor is browsing.
Live Agent — talk to a real human, with your team
Visitors click one button to reach a real operator, right inside the same widget — no separate live-chat tool to install. Your team works from a shared inbox in the dashboard: invite operators by email, assign conversations, share saved replies. The button only shows when someone's actually online.
Voice calls from the widget
Visitors can start a real voice call with your team straight from the chat window — no phone number, no dialing, no software. Browser-to-browser audio; if the call goes unanswered and you have a lead form set up, the visitor is offered it so the lead is not lost. In most live-chat tools, only the agent can start a call — visitor-initiated calling is usually an enterprise contact-center feature.
Voice output (Text-to-Speech)
Reads answers back in the visitor's language. Hands-free conversations on mobile and a friendlier UX for visitors who'd rather listen.
Visitor Engagement — the number that grows from day one
A hero card at the top of your dashboard shows how many times visitors interacted with the agent this period — split into manual clicks and proactive auto-shows. Available whatever your plan, Starter included. Shown in the Overview tab of Analytics.
Knowledge Gap Detection
Surfaces the questions visitors asked that your content didn't answer — ranked by frequency. The pages you should publish next to stop bouncing visitors. Shown in the Messages tab of Analytics.
Custom AI actions (no-code tools)
Give the agent your own tools — call an external API, collect structured input via a form, or surface a link/CTA — configured in the dashboard, no code.
WhatsApp Business channel
Run the same agent on WhatsApp Business — grounded answers, multilingual replies, lead capture, and conversation history.

How it works
Three steps. No engineers required.
From your website URL to a live agent that answers questions and captures leads — in minutes, without help from a developer.
1
Minute 1 — your site is connected
Create an account, paste your URL. Add as many websites as you want — each on its own plan, its own settings, its own agent. No DNS, no platform-specific install for this step.
https://yourwebsite.com
Business type detected automatically
2
Next — your pages, prices and policies indexed
We crawl your site, detect the kind of business you are (e-commerce, services, SaaS, hospitality…) and pick the matching AI template automatically. Pages, prices, FAQs and policies go into a hybrid search index, and answers cite the page or file they came from. How many pages a crawl takes is set by your plan.

3
Same session — first visitor question, answered with a source
Paste the script into your template, or use one of the integrations. From the next visitor onwards, the agent answers questions, captures leads, and pushes them straight into your CRM, Slack, or inbox.
From this point on: visitors get answers until your plan's monthly message allowance is spent, buying signals are captured, and leads reach your stack.
Before you ask
The four things people worry about first.
What if it gives a wrong answer?
It answers from your own content and shows where the answer came from. When your content has no match for the question, it says so instead of guessing, and where you have a lead form or live chat set up it offers a way to reach your team.
It is encrypted at rest, uploaded files are kept in EU storage, and the chat and embedding AI providers we use exclude training on your content under their business-tier terms. The security page also says plainly what we do not have yet.
Most visitors read only part of your site — they decide in seconds and leave.
People form a verdict on your page in milliseconds, skim the first screen, and move on — most of their attention stays near the top. And the few who do ask a question are lost if the reply is slow. Decades of research keep finding the same pattern, and most teams are still on the wrong side of it.
50 ms
is how long visitors need to judge your site — before they read a word
↳NovixAgent AI starts answering within seconds, 24/7, in their language — and captures the lead before they leave.
Visitor lands. Not answered. Not captured. Not booked. NovixAgent AI starts answering within seconds, 24/7, in their language — and captures the lead before they leave.
Why teams pick this
Two outcomes you actually feel in revenue.
A visitor who doesn't find what they need is a lead you may not know existed. NovixAgent AI finds them, captures them, and delivers them — with measurable signals you'll see in week one.
Visitors find their answer — or you find a content gap
Replies are grounded in your own pages and uploaded docs, with its sources shown when the match is strong. When the answer doesn't exist on the site, the agent records the question, and on Business your Messages tab lists them under Questions Without an Answer — so you know which page to publish next.
More leads from the same traffic
The agent listens for buying signals and asks for contact details when the visitor seems ready. No popups on the third second, no walls of fields — leads show up because the visitor wanted to reach you.
Proof your agent is working — from day one
A Visitor Engagement card in your analytics overview counts the times the chat opened — visitors who clicked it themselves, and the opens your proactive message rules triggered. It is the first sign the agent is being used, while leads are still warming up. Overview analytics is available from the Starter plan up.
Prices and policies stay current
Scheduled re-crawls (weekly on Starter, daily on Pro, every 12 hours on Business) detect content changes automatically. Update a price or refund policy — the agent picks it up on the next pass, no re-training, no admin chores. Something that isn't on the site? Type it into your Knowledge Base and it is learned in the background.
Leads in up to three places at once
Each captured lead arrives in up to three places at once: your Leads screen (the message, how it reached you, where it was submitted, a status you move from New through to Resolved, and a reply you can draft in your own mail app or send through us), an email alert, and, once you connect one, an HMAC-signed webhook to Zapier, n8n, Slack, or your own CRM. One channel hiccups — the others still deliver.
Visitors in their own language
A visitor from Germany sees the chat in German. A visitor from Mexico sees it in Spanish. The language is detected from what the visitor actually writes, message by message, so a switch mid-conversation is followed — no translation team, no missed international sales.
Answers
Visitors get an answer with a source — or a real human.
Your AI is instructed to answer only from your website and your uploaded docs (PDF, DOCX, TXT), and an answer is tagged grounded, low-confidence or no-evidence. When a reply is grounded, you see its sources. When your content has no match, the agent is instructed to say it has no answer and, where your site has a way to reach you, offers it — instead of making something up.
Hybrid search (vector + full-text + reranking) finds the right passage even when the question is worded differently from your page. The agent is instructed not to make up prices or claims you did not make.

Every conversation is a chance to win a customer.
The agent picks up on buying signals in the chat — "I'm interested", "how do I order", "can someone call me" — and asks for name, email or phone when the visitor is ready. No pop-ups on the third second, no walls of fields that kill conversion.
Leads land in your dashboard, your inbox, and — via webhook — wherever your team already works: Zapier, n8n (and through them HubSpot), Slack, or your own CRM endpoint. The chat doesn't end in a forgotten transcript; it ends in a contact your team can follow up on. Prefer a classic form UI over a chat flow? Switch the capture to a native form on the same widget — same fields, same delivery.

AI agent vs a chat widget
What changes when the agent does the answering.
A chat widget is an inbox with a UI in front of it. An agent is the part that actually talks to your visitor. Here's the practical difference.
Topic
Old chat widget
NovixAgent AI
Answer speed
Visitor waits for an operator. Off hours: "We'll get back to you Monday."
Starts answering within seconds, 24/7, in the visitor's language. Same quality at 3am as 3pm.
Honesty
Generic AI chats invent prices, policies, delivery times. Operators cut-and-paste from a stale FAQ.
Answers come only from your pages and files, with the sources shown under grounded replies. When the agent doesn't know, it says it has no answer on that and offers to put the visitor in touch with your team — instead of guessing.
Lead capture
Popup on the third second, "leave your email and we'll get back to you", a form with 7 fields.
Listens for buying signals in the conversation. Asks for contact only when the visitor is ready, pre-fills what they already mentioned.
Knowledge freshness
FAQ written in 2023 and left alone. Operator script behind on the latest pricing change.
Auto re-crawl on schedule with change detection. Update a price on your site, the agent picks it up on the next pass.
AI templates
Change how your AI answers — in one click.
After the crawl, NovixAgent AI looks at your content and auto-detects what you do — e-commerce, professional services, real estate, SaaS, healthcare, hospitality — then picks the matching AI template. Tone, style, and specializations come pre-tuned, so the agent sounds like a natural part of your business from minute one.
Want something unique? Override the auto-pick with another template, or write a custom prompt and fully control how your AI thinks, speaks, and responds to customers.

The right opening question doubles as qualification.
NovixAgent AI writes your welcome message and suggested questions from your own content, then translates them into the languages chosen at setup, plus English — no translating, no setup step before you launch. Edit it by hand afterwards if you want a different tone or a different starting point.
Pick prompts that surface intent ("Looking for pricing?", "Need help choosing a plan?") and the chat starts working as a qualifier from the first click — not a friendly hello that goes nowhere.

Analytics
See which pages — and which questions — lose you leads.
When a visitor asks something your site doesn't cover, NovixAgent AI records the question, unless you have switched transcript storage off. Not because the agent is wrong — because your content has a gap. On Business, you see those gaps ranked by frequency, so you can see which page to publish next to stop bouncing visitors.
Visitors can rate a reply with thumbs-up or thumbs-down — so you see satisfaction trend by topic, spot answers that frustrate people, and catch product-shaped problems before they become support tickets. Pair that with per-field form fill-rate and an ROI projection, and you get a revenue dashboard, not just a chart.

What your current chatbot doesn't do
The capabilities that make NovixAgent feel different.
Each one alone is a reason to switch. Together, they're the reason there's no going back — the quiet engineering most prospects only discover after they've already moved.
Grounded / low-confidence / no-evidence labelling
Answers drawn from your content are tagged. When the agent doesn't know, it is instructed to admit it and escalate — instead of inventing prices or policies.
Lead capture (intent + scoring)
Watches for buying signals and asks for contact details only when the visitor is ready. No popups on the third second.
Conversation auto-fill
If the visitor already mentioned name / email / phone in the chat, the assistant does not ask for it again and asks only for what's missing.
Business type auto-detection
After the crawl we work out what you do — online store, SaaS, real estate, healthcare, education, professional services, and more — and load the AI template that fits.
Keeps itself fresh — auto re-crawl
Scheduled re-crawls with change detection: weekly on Starter, daily on Pro, every 12 hours on Business. Update a price and the agent picks it up automatically.
Auto language detection
A visitor from Germany sees the agent in German. A visitor from Mexico sees it in Spanish. And it's not just the answers — the widget's own buttons, notices and consent prompts show up in the visitor's language, right-to-left scripts included; lead-form field labels show as written in your form settings. No translation team, no missed international sales.
Knowledge Gap Detection
Surfaces the questions visitors asked that your content didn't answer — ranked by frequency. The pages you should publish next to stop bouncing visitors. Shown in the Messages tab of Analytics.
Built to trust
Your customer data is your moat — we keep it that way.
What you'd expect from a serious tool, without the worries. Full security details on /security.
Your data stays yours
Conversations travel over TLS. The chat and embedding AI providers we use exclude training on your content under their business-tier terms. Our own support team reads conversations with email addresses in unaccented Latin letters, phone numbers that start with + or are grouped 3-3-4 (415-555-1234) and card numbers masked out automatically, and seeing unmasked content takes a separate, MFA-protected and audited workflow. Delete a website yourself — a paid one is held recoverable for a grace period before its data is destroyed — and download a subject-access export of a site whenever you want.
Hard to push off-script
Rate limits at the edge and again in the application, device recognition that survives a cleared cookie, and prompt-injection guards that fence off page content and visitor text so neither can be read as an instruction. The visitor who wants free legal advice from your e-commerce agent gets a polite no.
GDPR-ready from day one
Cookie consent, data-retention controls, and deletion of a website that you confirm with your password, with a grace period for paid sites, plus CSV export of your captured leads whichever plan you are on (the analytics overview on every plan). We act as Data Processor, you as Data Controller — and we'll send a DPA on request.
Decision-ready analytics
Overview from Starter up. Analytics CSV export on Pro and up. Message analysis, sentiment, and the ROI and cost-savings breakdown on Business. No vanity charts — just what to fix next week to win more leads.
Looks like part of your brand
Bubble label and light/dark theme from Starter up, bubble position and size on Pro and up. Custom brand colors, a persona avatar, and white-label (no “Powered by”) on Business. Your agent, your brand — not a generic floating bot.
Unlimited websites, one account
Add as many brands or sites to your account as you need — plans do not limit how many websites an account holds. Each one gets its own template, its own settings and its own analytics. Agencies and multi-brand teams stop juggling logins.
Read what ships, what is coming and what we do not have yet: the changelog, the roadmap and the security page. Then start a trial and test the agent on your own content.
Founder note
“I built NovixAgent as a reliable, full-featured AI agent for websites — bringing grounded answers, lead capture, voice, live chat with automatic translation, booking, and multilingual conversations into one product. The goal is simple: give every business an agent that can do more than chat and still stay accurate.”

Built audit-ready
TLS in transit
The visitor's connection and the call to the AI provider travel over TLS.
Training excluded by contract
The chat and embedding AI providers we use exclude training on your content under their business-tier terms.
Append-only audit journal
Privileged actions on your account are written to a journal no request reaching the product can rewrite or erase; an entry leaves it only when its published retention period ends.
GDPR data deletion + export
Delete a website yourself; a paid one is held recoverable for a grace period before its data is destroyed. Download a subject-access export of the records of a site when you need one, whichever plan you are on.

No add-on subscriptions for features — optional message packs are the only extra. No glue code. What your plan includes is in your account the moment it starts (usage is capped at the trial limit during a free trial).
FAQ
Everything you might want to ask.
NovixAgent AI is an AI agent platform for websites and WhatsApp Business. It reads your website content with an automatic crawler, answers visitor questions with citations in the website widget and grounded replies on WhatsApp, and captures leads inside the conversation — delivered to your CRM, Slack, or inbox. NovixAgent AI blends semantic and keyword search for accuracy, speaks its answers out loud on Pro and Business plans, replies in the visitor's own language automatically, re-crawls your site on a schedule and notices what changed, ingests PDF, DOCX and TXT files alongside your pages, books meetings, and pushes captured leads to your tools over signed webhooks (an HTTPS endpoint of your choice; Zapier and n8n directly, HubSpot and Salesforce through Zapier). Add it to a website with one line of code, or connect WhatsApp Business from the dashboard on Pro and up; plans start at $29/mo.
Yes — all three. Connect a WhatsApp Business number, an Instagram professional account, or a Facebook Page in Dashboard → Channels, and incoming customer messages use the same agent knowledge, lead capture, and conversation history as your website. They are included on Pro and up, and channel replies draw on the same monthly message allowance rather than a separate charge. On Pro and up, Live Agent can hand the thread to an operator. Messages the agent starts are a separate capability: appointment reminders can already go out over WhatsApp, while WhatsApp follow-ups on the lead-status playbook are still coming soon — that playbook sends email only.
It's an AI agent — there's a meaningful difference. A chat widget waits for an operator and shows "we'll be back at 9am". This agent reads your website, answers visitors itself, citing the source when your content covers the question, and only escalates when it can't help or the visitor asks for a person. It answers at 3am the same way it answers at 3pm, within your monthly message allowance. See /compare for a side-by-side breakdown vs general AI chatbots, help-desk AI add-ons, and DIY custom GPTs.
No. Answers that go through retrieval are tagged grounded, low-confidence, or no-evidence: a reply backed by your content shows the source pages or files beneath it once the reply has finished, except when the visitor asked for your team, and when nothing in your content was retrieved for the question the agent says it can't help with that one rather than guessing, and offers to put the visitor in touch with your team. Citations are assembled on our side from the passages actually retrieved, and the agent is instructed not to write a source list of its own, so the Sources shown beneath a reply come from what was retrieved. On Business, the Messages tab lists the questions visitors asked that your content could not answer, as they wrote them (the first 200 characters, where the site stores question text), so you know what content to publish next. How much of your tier-1 volume gets deflected depends on how thoroughly your own content covers what visitors ask — that's the lever you control.
It watches the conversation for buying signals — questions like "how do I order", "can someone call me", "is it available in my country" — and offers the lead form then, or when a visitor asks for a person; when it has no answer it mentions the contact option and offers to take contact details. If a visitor is just browsing, the agent answers and stays out of the way. It starts a conversation on its own only if you switch on a proactive invitation.
Several places at once. First, your lead inbox — every lead lands with its form answers or booking details, the page it came from, the conversation around it, and a status you can move through New, Viewed, In progress, Awaiting customer, Contacted and Resolved. Each lead has Draft reply (opens your email app with a draft), Copy email and Delete, plus a Delivery indicator that shows whether the email alert and the webhook were sent when the lead came in. Second, an email alert straight to your inbox. Third, a signed webhook (HMAC-SHA256) to the public HTTPS URL you point it at — Zapier, n8n, Slack, or your own endpoint — and if a delivery fails it retries three times at once, then keeps the failed delivery in a backup queue and retries it over about a day and a half before it is abandoned (the lead itself stays in your inbox). Fourth, on Pro and up, a native Slack connection: link your workspace once and leads arrive in the channel you choose as rich Slack cards, no webhook URL to wire up. Native Zapier and HubSpot marketplace apps are on the roadmap as further upgrades on top of the webhook flow.
Yes — that's the AI Assistant, and once you turn follow-up on it is handled for you. For each lead status you pick a channel and, if you like, a goal; when a lead reaches that status the assistant writes a short message and sends it automatically. Booking businesses can also send automatic appointment reminders a set number of hours before the meeting — by email, or on Pro and up over WhatsApp once you've connected WhatsApp Business, where the reminder is a Meta-approved template with Confirm and Reschedule buttons. Because nobody reads these automatic messages before they go out, each one is written only from the goal you set for that status, your reply template, your business type, the topic of the request and the visitor's first name (only when the name as given holds nothing but letters, spaces, apostrophes and hyphens, and its first word has at most one apostrophe or hyphen inside it), plus the booking details for a reminder — never from the visitor's own words. If a written reminder would carry any link other than the booking's own links (its reschedule or cancel link and, when the meeting's location is a web address, that address), a link to your website, or a bare address already written in your own settings or the booking details — counting any bare address that ends in a real top-level domain as a link — it is not sent: it is kept as a draft in the lead for you to send or skip. A WhatsApp reminder is the approved template itself, so this check does not apply to it; one is skipped rather than sent, and uses none of the allowance, when the name the customer gave has no first name the template can use — most often because it carries a title or initial with a dot, a comma or a digit, or a first name joined more than once. For a personal answer to exactly what a visitor wrote, open the lead and use Generate AI reply; you read that draft and send it yourself. Email follow-up is live on every plan (40 AI drafts a month on Starter, 200 on Pro, 1,000 on Business, unlimited on Custom). The monthly allowance is spent when a message is written, so sending it is free; a reminder held as a draft or skipped because the booking was cancelled has still used its unit. Every follow-up email goes out under a sender name taken from your website's domain (a workspace with no website sends under our product name), with replies coming back to you and a one-click unsubscribe. Still coming soon: WhatsApp on the lead-status playbook (that playbook is email-only today), and an AI voice confirmation call for a booked appointment — a customer who left a phone number would get a consent-based confirmation/reminder call, booking-only and never cold outreach.
Quick. Add your website URL, wait while we crawl and analyze your content, then drop one line of code into your template. Most sites are live in minutes; a site with thousands of pages keeps crawling for longer.
Three things: (1) answers are instructed to come only from your own content, with the source page or file shown under grounded replies — no invented prices or policies, (2) lead capture happens inside the conversation when buying intent shows up, not via a popup, (3) the agent re-crawls your site automatically so prices and policies stay fresh without retraining. Detailed comparisons live at /compare.
Start a trial on Starter, Pro, and Business — your pick — for a website's first subscription (one trial per customer) and you get that plan's features for 7 days, no charge; usage during the trial is limited. We require a card so the renewal happens automatically — no surprise bills, no manual upgrade flow. You can cancel in the billing portal before day 8 at zero cost. Already getting value on day 5? Move up a plan mid-trial — the change applies right away, the trial keeps its end date, and the first charge for the new plan falls on that date. Prefer to start paying sooner? “Start paid plan now” ends the trial immediately.
Type it. The Knowledge Base has a plain text field for the things that never made it onto your website — the price you quote on the phone, the policy you explain in person, hours that changed last week. Save it and the agent learns it as soon as the note finishes learning (the panel shows its status); no file to prepare, no re-crawl to wait for. Where your typed note and a crawled page are about equally relevant, the note is preferred, so fixing a stale price takes one sentence. It also means a business with no website at all — running on WhatsApp Business — can still have an agent that answers instead of only taking messages.
Yes. Upload PDF, DOCX or TXT files — manuals, spec sheets, price lists, internal FAQs. The agent reads them the same way it reads your website. Your plan sets the size of the whole knowledge base: 10 MB on Starter, 100 MB on Pro, 1 GB on Business, with Custom scoped per contract. One more ceiling to know about: no single file may exceed 25 MB, so on Starter the 10 MB budget is also the largest file you can send, and on the bigger plans a document above 25 MB has to be split before it will upload.
Yes, on Pro and Business — paperclip icon appears in the chat input. Visitors upload a PDF, DOCX, XLSX, CSV or TXT (up to 10 MB on Pro, 25 MB on Business). You set up a template in your admin panel ahead of time. A translation quote: you set your rate per word, currency, minimum, and optional rates for specific language pairs, and the visitor gets a price card with the total, language pair, word count and turnaround. Resume screening: you give the job description and must-have skills, and the agent scores candidates against them. Document summary: you choose the bullet count and tone. Document checklist: you list what a complete package needs — legal intake, immigration paperwork, tax documents, admissions — and the visitor sees a ✓/✗ card marking what's present, what's missing, and whether they're good to go. On Business you can also write a fully custom prompt, with placeholders for word count, language, page count and filename. Business handles complex or scanned PDFs with a more powerful parser automatically — nothing to switch on. The visitor's file is used for that one chat turn and not kept afterwards (our edge server may briefly hold a large upload in a temporary file while receiving it), and it is not added to your knowledge base. Different from the knowledge-base PDF uploads above: those become part of what the agent answers from; document analysis processes one visitor's document and returns a structured answer to them.
Yes. Form fields auto-discover from your site and you control each one: mark required, toggle visible, add custom fields, set placeholders. Every plan shows per-field fill rates for your lead form on the Overview tab, so you can find the field that's killing your conversion.
Yes — Text-to-Speech (spoken replies), Speech-to-Text (the mic button) and Live Agent (human handoff) are each an on/off switch in Chat Configuration in your dashboard, set per website, with a live preview of what visitors will see. Voice in both directions unlocks on Pro and up and is on by default once your plan includes it — switch either off any time to hide the mic or mute spoken replies. Live Agent is a toggle you turn on, after which your operators go online to take chats (the "Talk to a human" button only appears while an operator is online and within your working hours).
Yes, two ways. The native Slack connection is live on Pro and up: link your workspace in one click, pick a channel, and leads arrive as rich Slack cards listing the fields the visitor filled in. For everything else — Zapier, n8n, HubSpot, Salesforce, or your own CRM endpoint — point an outbound webhook at your URL. Each lead a lead form captures is sent there signed, alongside the email alert (a lead created from a booking is not sent), and a failed delivery retries three times at once, then is kept in a backup queue and retried over about a day and a half before it is abandoned. A native Zapier marketplace listing and a direct HubSpot connection are on the roadmap as further upgrades on top of the webhook flow.
Yes — Live Agent is a real-time human handoff inside the same widget (see /use-cases/live-chat): a visitor clicks "Talk to a human" and reaches an operator directly, no separate live-chat tool to install. The button only shows when an operator is online and within your configured working hours. Your team works from a shared inbox in the dashboard with the visitor's page, device, location and captured lead already on screen, plus saved replies, file attachments, and a typing indicator. It comes with operator seats included in your plan (2 seats on Pro, 10 seats on Business — invited teammates; you never use a seat yourself), separate from the AI message cap. When the AI cannot answer, it still offers to take the visitor's contact details, and that lead reaches your team by email, Slack, or webhook (see the CRM/Zapier/Slack question above). Automated team routing — auto-assignment, departments, SLA targets — is on the roadmap (see /roadmap).
Yes — on Pro and up, visitors can start a real voice call with your team straight from the chat window. Calling is a switch you turn on in your live-chat settings (it starts off), and each operator chooses whether they take calls. The call runs browser-to-browser: the visitor taps the call button, the browser asks for microphone permission, and they're connected — no phone numbers on either side, and no per-minute fees or per-call charges, because calls use the same operator seats as live chat. The call button follows the same presence rules as live chat, so it only appears while an operator is online. Every available operator rings for up to 45 seconds — online, not already on a call, and not opted out of calls — and whoever accepts first takes it; if nobody picks up, the visitor is offered your lead form where you have one set up, so a missed call still becomes a lead. In most live-chat tools, only the agent can start a call — visitor-initiated calling is usually an enterprise contact-center feature.
Yes — every plan. The agent replies in the language of the visitor's message, and the widget's own interface follows the visitor's language where it is one of the widget's 31. A visitor from Germany sees the chat in German, a visitor from Mexico sees it in Spanish, with no extra setup on your end. Your knowledge base stays in whatever language you wrote it; the agent handles the translation when it matters. Source-side multi-language content translation (translating retrieved chunks before answering, for sites that are English-only) is on the roadmap for Business and Custom — see /roadmap.
Open “Sign in & account access” in the footer of any page and click Sign in — it opens the single login screen for your account. Sign in with the email and password you signed up with, or choose Continue with Google if you registered that way and have not turned on two-factor authentication; you land straight in your dashboard, where your websites, analytics, captured leads, and widget settings live. Forgot your password? Use the "Forgot password?" link on the login screen to get a reset email. Don't have an account yet? Pick a plan on /pricing — plans start at $29/mo, and Starter, Pro, and Business each include a 7-day free trial for a website's first subscription (card required, cancel before it ends and you're not charged). Full walkthrough at /account-access.
It stays yours. Conversations travel over TLS, the chat and embedding AI providers we use exclude training on your content under their business-tier terms, and you can delete a website and its data yourself (a paid website is held recoverable for a grace period first) and export its leads, or a subject-access copy of the site, whenever you need to. Our own support staff see conversations with email addresses (accented and non-Latin letters included), phone numbers written with a plus, with spaces, dashes or slashes between the digit groups, or in dotted pairs, and card numbers (13 to 19 digits) automatically masked server-side (a name typed into the chat stays as written unless the visitor gave it in one of your lead forms in that same chat) — raw content requires a separate, audited, MFA-gated workflow. GDPR-aligned consent banner included. Full details at /security.
