Shopify integration

The AI sales rep your Shopify store was missing.

NovixAgent AI ingests your Shopify catalogue, policies, and shipping info and answers shopper questions instantly. Connect your store via a read-only OAuth link and, once Shopify has approved NovixAgent AI to read order details, the agent also looks up live order status — fulfillment and tracking — right inside the chat (plans with Shopify order status only). Widget install is a single script paste in theme.liquid; no app-approval wait.

What you can do

Use cases

Answer product-fit and sizing questions mid-cart from your published product copy
Look up live order status — fulfillment, carrier, tracking, ETA — verified by order number + the email on the order
Answer shipping / return / policy questions from your store's policy pages
Capture email + intent inside the chat — delivered to your CRM via Slack / webhook / Zapier

Setup guide

Install in 3 steps

1
Ingest your store
Add your store's public web address as the website in NovixAgent AI. It crawls product pages, policies, and shipping pages automatically, then re-crawls on schedule when content changes.
2
Paste the script in theme.liquid
Admin → Online Store → Themes → Edit code → `theme.liquid`. Paste the snippet just before `</head>`. Save.
3
Connect Shopify for order status (optional)
Dashboard → Integrations → Shopify: enter your store's *.myshopify.com address and click Connect Shopify. A Shopify window opens; grant read-only access to your orders. From then on the agent can verify an order number against the email on the order and reply with live fulfillment and tracking.

Order-status lookup works once Shopify has approved NovixAgent AI to read order details (until then a store that is not a development store may not return orders, and the assistant offers your team): the agent queries the Shopify Admin API at chat time, read-only, and only reveals order details when the supplied email matches the order (anti-enumeration). Orders from the last 60 days are searchable, and lookups are metered per plan (Pro 250 / mo, Business 1,000 / mo, Custom unlimited; not included on Starter). Product / policy / shipping answers come from your crawled catalogue and policy pages and do not need the Shopify connection.
