Your own software reads your leads, conversations and analytics with API keys — included on Pro and Business.

Your developer or agency calls endpoints under /v1/public-api with an API key you create in Dashboard → Account → API keys and AI apps. Each key carries only the permissions you tick, reaches only the websites you choose, has an expiry date, and can be limited to listed IP addresses. It is included on Pro and Business; a website on another plan refuses the key. We are opening it in stages: until it is open, the tile says creating new keys is switched off for now. Lead webhooks and CSV export remain available for simple hand-offs.

Setup guide

Install in 4 steps

Create a key
Open Dashboard → Account → API keys and AI apps and choose Create key. Name it, pick the websites it can reach and what it can do, choose when it expires, and confirm with your password. The full key is shown once; store it in your software straight away.

Call the API
Send the key as `Authorization: Bearer <key>` to the endpoints under /v1/public-api. Responses are JSON, lists are paged with a cursor, and each response to an accepted call carries `X-RateLimit-*` headers so your software can see its own rate.

Handle refusals
A refused call returns a problem document with a typed `code` such as `RATE_LIMITED`, with a `Retry-After` header when waiting helps.

Keep control of the key
Roll a key to replace it, narrow it to fewer websites or addresses, or revoke it; each key shows counts of what it did. Keys belong to the account, so they keep working when the person who created one leaves.
